Mineral Project By: Mohammed Hossain

The properties I studied in this lab are testing the Minerals  Luster, Streak, Hardness, Cleavage, and also I tested the Mineral is it Metallic or Nonmetallic.

1. What did you enjoy most about this project and why?
Ans: The thing I mostly enjoy on this project worked with my group members, and knowing the different Minerals names and qualities.

2. What was most challenging for you during this project and why?
Ans: The most challenging thing was on this project to describe about the discussing/analysis and conclusion.

3. What new skills did you learn from doing this project?
Ans: The one new skill I learned from this project is how to create a animoto video and add a details on it.

4. Is there anything that you could have done to improve any of your work? Explain.
Ans: Yes, I think to make my video look more better than now, if I did added some more information on the Discussion and Conclusion.

Tides - Mohammed Hossain

Vocabulary
Revolution - বিপ্লব - Earth movement around the sun.
Spring tide - তেজ কটাল - When water level on Earth is very high and very low.
Neap tide - মরা কটাল - When water level on earth is equal.
New moon - অমাবস্যা - No moon, the moon is not visible.
Full moon - পূর্ণচন্দ্র - All of the moon is visible.
Phases of the moon - চন্দ্রকলা Stages of the moon.


Summary
Tides cause by the Revolution and gravity. There are two types of tides Spring tide when the water level on earth is its highest and lowest and phases of the moon are New moon and Full moon. And Neap tide when the water level on earth is equal and phases of the moon are First Quarter and Last Quarter.There are two other tides High and Low tides each day the water level is high two times and low two times.


Critical Thinking QuestionHow is earth affected by movement (Revolution)?
The earth is affected by its movement. Earth spin on its axis in 24 hour each day, Earth move on its axis each hour 15 degrees. The direction does earth move on its axis is counter clockwise east to west. Earth rotation cause day and night.

1. What did you enjoy most about this project and why?
I enjoy most work on this project was working with my group members because they were very helpful. 
2. What was most challenging for you during this project and why?
Most challenging was making the video because moving the pictures and read at time.
3. What new skills did you learn from doing this project?
I learn the new skill from this project was how to read at the time when making the video.
4. Is there anything that you could have done to improve any of your work? Explain.
I could not  finish some of the work on this project was some folder work.

Geologic Time - Mississippian Period

Mississippian - Rimsha


My summary: The  Mississippian Period  is when Crinoids, Corals and Brachiopods all flourished in the sea during the Missiappian Period  and amphibians. Mississippian marbles and limestones filled with fossils of flower - like in vertebrates called Crinoids.

1. I most enjoy about this project is worked with my group member, Because my  group member was great worker.
2. The most hard about this project is making the video and putting our project together.
3. What I change is I thought the continents were always separated but after I did this project now I can see the all continents before were connected.
4. I learned from this project about is how life was in the Mississippian period, also I learned is what the  Mississippian period was, and I learned is what type of animals there was during the Mississippian period
